I was trying to play with my game-pad (microsoft sidewinder freestyler pro) with the help of this link http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/
And no luck, did somebody succeed with any game-pad?

I use my XBox controller with a $10 converter I bought from Wal-Mart, works great...even supports force feedback.

Hi,

Dirt2 is OK with my old USB Microsoft SideWinder Game Pad Version 1 (same as crzycnuk photograph link), on Windows XP Pro SP2 without any additional driver/program.

You have to choose it in the Game options and configure all buttons as you want, instead of the default f***** keyboard.

Bye.

Thanks, I didn't think about that, to rearrange the control button's layout by pushing the buttons on the gamepad.

Anyway i discovered that i play better with keyboard and there is no such thing as "what is better for this game" it's individual opinion of every player.
