Can't change name

No matter what, pressing backspace or delete, I can't remove the "UnnamedPlayer" bit. I can add words before it, but not after it. I've put in a valid email and it still hasn't fixed this issue.

Are there any config files I can edit to change my name?

I just had to use the arrow keys + backspace.

Yeah arrow keys and backspace here too. It took a few tries. Hope in the upcoming patch this is sorted as its a pretty stupid bug! Quite a few people running around with "*name*UnnamedPlayer"

It's actually not a bug, it's how it's set up. When you load up the config part, just hit backspace and the characters will delete, and you can rename your character. I found it somewhat counter-intuitive as well, and I have been working with this game since its earliest alphas; I think if enough people are irritated by it, it could easily be a priority to fix it, but that depends on people's feelings and if it's abig enough deal for developer time. I'd personally rather have 'em work on high resolution support than fix this, but they'd both be awesome; just an indie developer, so we have to prioritize. I'm 100% in agreement though that it should be able to be highlighted either with a cursor or CTRL+A, so you can rename in one swift delete, versus spamming backspace until it's clear then typing your name.

Hehe, they're not necessarily mutually exclusive, it was just an example of the choices we make. I will do my best to make sure this gets on the list for a future patch though, it should be a very tiny menu fix and a lot of people would appreciate it. :)
