Does any one know if it is possible to install multiple localization versions of a game on Steam?

Having finished The Witcher in English, I thought I'd try a playthrough in French. Changing the setting started off a huge 1.2GB download, so I quickly switch back to English. Of course, now I have to re-download the same 1.2GB of files before I can start the game up again.

It would be awesome if there was a way to have both versions downloaded, and some how just switch between them. Anyone figured out how?

Only 1.2GB?

I have to load the game new when i change the language :(

Edit1:
Oh a bug after 1.2gb steam said me thats finished.

Edit 2:
Nice in the polish version of the game you can change the language in main menu without redownloading the language files

Really? Okay, cool, I'll download the Polish version and then just switch in the menu.

i think you can switch languages in-game not only in polish version.
At least that's what i did: i downloaded eng version and then changed language to russian from in-game options screen without additional downloads.

I downloaded the Polish version, and I now have the option to switch languages (and subtitles) in the options menu.

But I'm beginning to think I just never saw the option, since it only appears when you're at the main menu, and not during gameplay.

Switching the language of the installation also replaced several files (like the game guide) with Polish versions, so I'm going to switch back to English. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.
