Screen Resolution - Disappointment

Well just to second the screen resolution issues. I play games on my 82" over HDMI, so I need support for custom screens AND it needs to initialize in the desktop resolution.

At the moment, I can't play the game at all - the TV can't display the default resolution. Support for regular HD also isn't enough - due to over scan, it is the norm to have the screen slightly smaller (I play at 1800 x 1018)

Luckily you provided a Demo so I was able to see this issue before purchasing. Unfortunately it means I won't be purchasing until I can solve and try the demo 8( I'll fool around with the config.cfg when I get time.

I'm looking forward to trying the game - I'm very disappointed that I can't at this time.

hey, sorry to hear about your custom resolution problem. We had to manually construct each resolution and aspect-ratio, especially since we had a painted-UI setup (which made it harder, text needed to perfectly fit the boxes etc), its hard to add everything.
We'll look into adding many more resolution types as soon as we can in a patch.

Could you list the resolution types you'd want and I'll see what we can do :)

1366x768. I too use an HDTV as a monitor (albeit only 32") via HDMI. Didn't have the extra $75 needed to get a 1080p one lol... so I'm stuck with 720 and this oddball resolution but it's still wicked beautiful!

Evil Kerek, just to be sure, your TV does not have a 1:1 pixel mode?

And if the answer is no, could you post what TV it is so I know not to buy it :D

could you add support for 3600*1920 ?
this is my eyefinity resoluiton

Shattered horizon wont play it, and it peeves me off, i will not buy another game unless i know it will run windowed and detect my 3600*1920 properly :confused:

My current laptop has a resolution of 1680 x 945, which is 16:9 so the current supported 16:10 resolutions in the game stretch if I don't turn on the nvidia scaling with aspect ratio locking.
