I just watched a video of gameplay in the new beta and overall the new hud elements look pretty bad.
The old CS:S style was dark but transparent panels with a darkish-yellow text.
These new HUD panels have a much darker background, and the team-specific colours look awful with it.

Arial isn't the best choice for a font either. I think Trebuchet MS would fit better.
Some UI complaints of mine:
- Names in scoreboard are all in upper case
- A lot of game events still using HUD_PRINTCENTERs with ugly aliased font. I would prefer it if CS:S used the TF2 death notices, and incorporated game events into that.
- This MVP/win screen just annoys me, here's how I think it should look:
With perhaps the border matching the winning team's colour rather than being yellow.

I think consistency in the HUD elements would be better, that is, if the current game uses Arial in a certain way then every element should use Arial in that same way.
I like how you've laid out the win panel, however, I'm not really a fan of Trebuchet MS + drop shadow, imo it doesn't really suit the game.
