How do i access my steam files?

where i can change my player and weapon skins and stop my computer from downloading customs from other servers

Game related files are located in:
~/Documents/Steam Content/

Steam related files are located in:
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/

Files related to the skin, etc. are located within the bundle itself. To access them, right click on /Applications/Steam and select "Show Package Contents". You'll be greeted by a Finder window which contains the contents of the Steam App bundle. The location to the goodies is in:
/Applications/Steam.app/Contents/MacOS/
