When I test the built in microphone on my Macbook Pro* in STEAM I get a loud constant 'chirping' sound.

Anyone else have this problem?

*(Mid-2009, 2.8Ghz, 512MB Geforce 9600GT, OS X 10.6.3)

Yeah, I've got it too.

Try using headphones. The noise may be feedback.
