-Very High model setting (so models wont change their complexness in front of you, and they wont appear out of nowhere)
-Fixed bloom (i have to set mat_bloom_scalefactor_scalar 1.2 because by default its on 0.1 (which is too low)

Actually i dont have any major problems with DOD:S, it's good as it is.

yes, achievements are the only thing thats broken, need to be fixed and once fixed will make my dods experience so much more worthwhile now that i can earn useless titles.

also !fireball - have you seen that? It shoots a fireball. Totally should be in the game.

Maybe destructible walls and atv's that you can drive around in?

Realism mod should be adapted to be official too.

They should add a unique feature like accessories. You choose your class, then you can choose one accessory. IE (Ammo pouch, grenade pouch, sling, etc.)

Or tactical nuke or lightsabre or ninja stars or koala or motorbike or old man disguise (thats where you look like an old man and you walk up to the guy and go 'hey, im just an old man dont mind me' and then BLAM! you pull out your uzi and blast em. also uzi's.)

I would like Valve to include the British models and include all the weapons from the original Day of Defeat. I want them to have multiple weapons per class so people can choose whichever primary weapon they want on re-spawn to make the classes more flexible. They should do some bug fixes as well because there are many.

Its not realistic to shoot someone in the face, blood to appear, and for that person not to die.

its irritating.

Game is not about realism, either. Even if it was, a completely unintentional and random bug that makes it more "realistic" needs to be fixed anyway.

+1 again, fix the thing you broke steam! It has worked for well over a year with XP, 7beta, 7Pro64 and about 6 weeks ago it became broken for me, rego up the crapper, laggy, choppy and fps now less than half...

Truly there still is a dedicated fanbase to this game, a true testament to a good game (DoD:Source alone is several years old).

I haven't played in a while, my install was wiped and my bandwidth is limited, so I have to be picky when I install a game that requires a lot of updating. :\

Community content has really helped to keep the game fresh for returning players. The price is right for people looking to try a new (to them) WWII FPS at leisure.

Just wish the game hadn't stopped here. It's a great formula.

valve can't fix pov issues when scoped/iron sited...do you really think they can handle writing netcode?
