It is. Also, the overlay doesn't come up.

Honestly the lack of the overlay doesn't kill me but if I have to quit every time I need to check an email ding or an IM real quick then that's no good.

Yeah. The inability for Mac and PC savegames to sync is also a shame. But these are all up to Runic to solve, not so much, Valve. In the meantime, I'm running windowed.

BTW, the overlay problem is not unique to Torchlight. Doesnt work in a lot of my games.

Yes the comd with Tab doesn't work, so I use window mode to play the game

Seems that way to me. Pissed me off when the game froze- I couldn't cmd-tab out and kill it, so I had to do a hard reset.

The "Overlay" is the "Steam Overlay" that you get in "most" Steam-enabled games when you hit Shift-Tab. The chat window, friends list, steam achievements, and other controls appear.

Basically, it is the Steam version of Command-Tab, in a limited sense.
