well im buying valve complete pack and garrys mod...so im wondering if i install just 1 source based game like cs:s all the objects for others games works, aslo all props and addons works too?

You get the items for the games you own. If you own TF2, you get the TF2 items; if you own Portal, you get the Portal items.

You need to install the games for Garry's Mod to use the props. Garry's mod just takes them from the other source games rather then having them all in its own download.

Most Garrys Mod maps and models are based on Counter Strike Source, so you should be fine with installing just that. You might see a few missing models and textures due to TF2 or portal, but CSS is the most important one.

Just a question. About how much of CS:S, in percent, is Gmod based off of? Y'know, models, textures, etc.
I'm asking because I only have TF2 and Portal and I've been wanting to save a little money. But, if it's that necessary, than I will buy CS:S. Plus it looks like a neat game.
