Steam problem

I just installed Steam on my mac, and was looking forward to play cs on it. but then it says "counter-strike is not avaliable on your current platform". is it because it hasn't been converted to mac yet, or is it because my os is outdated. i got osx

Valve hasn't announced dates yet, but from the sound of their prior announcements we'll likely be looking at new Source games on Wednesdays for a while.
