Servers Problem

Is it just me or is 1.6 servers all so laggy and hard to find? I feel like the source servers are way less problematic. Every time I try to search for servers it either gives me "Server not responding" or very laggy servers. Not only that, but for some reason it also likes to crash my internet for a few minutes.

I don't have the internet problem that you have, but I do have problems connecting to servers using in-game server browsers in Steam games like CS1.6, CS: Source and Team Fortress 2. Click on the link below to check my screenshot of what I get.

Many times the Game Info window that pops up shows the server latency at over 1000 which is insane. I have Windows 7 64-bit and I got still get this problem even after getting rid of my router.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I kinda also have some problems regarding this.
When I refresh the Server list in CS 1.6 it refresh very slow, usually when I hit the refresh button it refreshes and in a couple of seconds I have over 500 Servers that I can play, now it takes ages till I get 50 Servers on the Server list.
Same thing happens to fav. Servers too.......

Can it be that I have a port problem? Since I got now a new Router....

Yeah sometimes kinda hard,but if you wanna find some good servers with no lag then gametracker.com is the answer

I got rid of my router and still have the problem. Do you all have Windows 7? I do.

Yep I also have windows 7 ^^
Not sure if its because of that since it worked 2-3 weeks ago -.-
