FPS lag?!

ok, i usually get good, for mac, FPS, but not when the floor is acid.
everything is the "recommended" setting except for color correction, i set to disabled, wait for Vertical sync, also disabled, and the texture detail is set to very high. i know i saw something on this site about setting the particles or something to 0 to improve FPS rates while in rooms with acid floors, but i cannot for the life of me find it or remember the command for it. Could someone tell me what that command is?

There is a currently known bug with ATi cards and water which can cause lower framerates.

If you're looking for a command, use the "find particles" command. That example looks for commands with the word "particles" within it.

I'll try to find that particles convar.
