Invalid CD key

The CD key that came with the game when I bought it is invalid when I try to activate through DRM. the FAQ isn't helping, what should I do?

i have the same problem - my key doesn't work anymore - the game keeps asking me about cd-key and when i enter it, it tells me it's already in use. WTF Ubisoft?

It sounds like you both were ripped off. Did you buy it from perhaps less than reputable sources?

Yes we were ripped off - by Ubisoft. I got replacement of my key, so it works again, but Ubisoft support - complete disaster. I still don't know why they banned my previous key. I regret buying this game, even for such a low price.

Support is a ton of bull. there isn't a 'contact us' option, so they are basicly giving me the middle finger, how did you contact/get it fixed?

I got replacement from the shop i bought it and it works again. But i never received answer why they banned my previous cd-key. What is funny ubi support asked me for:

my account login
account password (sic!)
cd-key


in order to, as they said "to re create the error in our office.". WTF? The want to reproduce "cd-key is in use" error?? That's bull♥♥♥♥. They banned it, so they should know why, and if they work for ubi, they should have access to my account without me giving them my password! Now i know that ♥♥♥♥ing pirates enjoy ubi games more than customers who paid them money, so next time ubi publish a game, they play it themselfes - i WON'T buy it for sure, even if it will be cheap, and i make sure to do everything that my friends know what they can expect from this company, if they buy their games.

I figured out what was wrong. You need to enter the hyphens yourself when you enter the CD key, I feel like a dumbass, and I probobly am, but that is complete bull. I havent played this game in the 3 months I owned it because of ♥♥♥♥ing hyphens. Oh well.
