View Full Version : Smoke effects thicker on DX11?

Just got a new DX11 enabled machine and after clocking a couple dozen hours with this new machine, i've started to feel like smoke and dust effects when running DX11, are much thicker and take much longer to disappear.
Is this a placebo or what?

No difference on mine. 2nd shot looks extremely glitched - like a massive occlusion barrier, rather than smoke.

if you make a whole thread just to ASK wether smoke is thicker or not then you should use a comparison screenshot
He is asking, not showing us

I do not notice this on my machine with direct X 11. Can we get some more info about your setup.
Video card/ drivers/ specs etc.

I see they have used smoke, good tactic against a CG spammer
You should be crucified for using it on that map, its dead easy :)
