For many weeks I have been trying to get Dirt 2 to load with no luck.
Figured it out. When the game originally installed, Open AL and Games for windows installed along with it. I did not realize Open AL installed with the game, and uninstalled it.
I finally figured that out when I tried to launch the game from the steam apps folder.
So be sure those 2 items are installed and all should be well. I reinstalled Open AL directly from the website.
