location of key in my OLD pc's registry

i have an old computer with condition zero installed from years ago, i have the legit cds in my cd wallet but i've lost the dvd case with the printed code, i'd just like to know if there's a tool i can use to retrive my CZ cd key?

now i have uninstalled the game multiple times and reinstall them using my discs, and whenever that happens it would install the 1st generation steam software to it, and when i launched the game it would NEVER ask me for the key because i already typed it in the first time i ran it and i'm assuming its because it is reading the already present one in the system because its still there

so i'd like to know if there's a way to retrieve the key, again i haven't updated the game at all, the first generation steam sofware is bundled with the installation of CZ and i haven't updated anything yet, but at the moment i have installed the latest steam version on the old pc, so what should i do?
