Fallout 3 runs flawlessly until I reach any point where there is battle or conflict in the game then it reboots my system. It rebooted when I first got the bbgun and had to shoot the rad roach ... again when i had the fight with the gang outside the GOAT exam and again when i fight the first guard on my way out of the vault.
My Hardware:
Motherboard : ASUS A7N8X-X w bios 1010
Processor : Athlon 2800+
Graphics Card : ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro AGP
Soundcard : Soundblaster PCI 128
Memory : 1 Gb
OS : Windows XP Pro 32bit
My system is NOT overclocked at all.
Half-Life 2 used to do the same thing until today's upgrade to the Episode two engine
The game developers seem to not care about the issue .. especially on older machines.
I wanted to add: I tested the memory and it is fine (no errors) I ran the test 4 times. Also, I have updated every driver on my computer. I also cleaned all dust out, reseated the processor complete with new thermal grease and replaced the 350w psu with a 500w.
