Have you tried the demo? If not we can't help as the game isn't out yet, Unless there's someone who has played the 360 version.

I love Shadowgrounds and I played the demo(And pre-purchased) Alien Breed: Impact but I sincerely hope they allow for a more responsive cursor in the final release of the game. At the moment it's just so unresponsive and very slow it's a bit of a killer... You can see it's taken from a console but it runs well enough on my i5-750, 5770, 4gig RAM computer... They just need to fix the sensitivity of the cursor so it's more responsive or can be set to a higher sensitivity for the PC.

If you already have a controller and don't mind using it, this game's an easy buy. Otherwise I'd wait to see if it's mouse control gets fixed.

I enjoyed both Shadowgrounds, as well as the Alien Shooter games. AB:I's gameplay looks right up that kind of alley, despite the annoying demo.

AB:I has online multiplayer. 'nuff said, really.

SG/SGS are great games but the lack of good multiplayer really kills it. Also, playing SG/S in local multiplayer is pretty terrible. Gamepads suck for SG/S, too.

I get a lot better FPS in Alien Breed: Impact. Probably because the Unreal 3 engine is so optimized. The Shadowsgrounds series are good games and should be played.

Unless there's someone who has played the 360 version.

I have the Xbox version. I made a topic too.

Its a cool game, but I never played Shadow Grounds so I can't compare.

Shadowgrounds was an Alien Breed clone, and it sucked hairy balls. This one is going to be a lot better

Multiplayer makes this game a clear winner. But before that Team 17 name alone made it a clear winner, so go ahead and buy it.
