Have you actually read the sticky's/other threads? There are a number a ways of allowing you to log in, including changing your DNS

Yeah, sorry, these didn't work for me. I've tried using OpenDNS and Google's DNS, and my computer is in my router's DMZ. I haven't been able to play online since Friday. No response back from my Steam support ticket.

Hmm, remember its been a bank holiday this weekend.

So you have set up a static IP, flushed and renewed your DNS servers, tried others, rebooted your modems/routers.

Look into updating your routers firmware, updating your ethernet/wireless card driver

EDIT: Just read your config on the sticky, firstly set up a static IP, if your unsure, follow the guide on portforward.com.

Secondly, try port triggering 3074, 88 and 53, just do them both TCP and UDP. Port Forward port 80 TCP and UDP.

Atfer applying all that, remove yourself off the DMZ and reboot both your router/modem and your wireless card/computer

Static IP: Don't see what this would have to do with it but yes, IP is now static.

Flushed DNS cache: Yup.

Tried others: Worked under OpenDNS for a few hours, then broke. Now trying Google DNS. Broken.

Rebooted: Yup.

How would router firmware be an issue here? The game worked on Friday.

As I'm sure you have read in my threads/comments, I have been a mixture of open, moderate and strict... even when no changes have been made haha. The only thing that fixed it for me was by port triggering rather than port forwarding.

I was checking static IP as sometimes when you Disconnect it might change your IP again, blocking ports.

In a sense I think your issue is slightly different than ours. You're having problems with NAT either being open, moderate or strict right? I can't even get past the main user login screen. So no online play occurs at all. Thanks for the help though!

Yea I understand. Worth a shot though, I was unable to log in at times when I was playing about with the settings as well. This games network infustucture is so tempermental, I'm just not touching my routers settings now haha

I played on friday, but i haven't been able to connect since monday. How did Activision screw this up this badly? its like they have never launched an online game before, and BC has such a good track record, and they are very well known, but the advertising and support for this game has been very subpar. I couldn't believe it, on a friday, fro a brand new game 100 people were on.

Never more than 100 from what I've seen.
