View Full Version : 3D Blast? WHY!?

Of all the Sonic games you could have brought to Steam... you pick 3D blast? One of the worst Sonic games ever created. You guys are looking at reviving Classic Sonic with 4, and so you decide to remind everyone of just how much Sonic games suck now in comparison to the classic 3?

Worst sonic game? I think you're talking about these crappy late releases for xbox right?

And regarding the MD sonic classics, i'm jsut with hopes they might be trying something with sonic 1, 2, 3 & k.. idk.. but hope so...

Like making a combo wich makes all sonic games compatible with the knucles like seen on Sonic Jam for Saturn

(better stop dreaming -_-)

I honestly think the MD/Genesis version of 3D Blast is worth repurchasing just for it's amazing soundtrack. :D

3D Blast wasn't a bad games by any means.. Just not much when sat next to the originals. I don't personally mind it being in there..

It would have been nice if Sega just spent some time and brought over some of their early Sega PC titles though.. The PC version of Sonic 3D Blast was much better than the Genesis version.

You really need to hear the Saturn version my friend, some of those songs were enough to move my heart.

The Genesis version had potential, but the Saturn version is the one that gets no credit.. and it's such a good game!

As for the Steam game, I won't knock it- they both play the same, I just wish they had gone for the Saturn version.

To be fair, I think he's right, because he said 'one of the worst', not 'the worst'. The first 3 were by far the best, 3D Blast was... Meh, I thought the first Dreamcast one was pretty good and I stopped playing Sonic games after that. The first 3 (oh, and Sonic & Knuckles) were easily the best, as I'm sure we can all agree, surely?
