I had that issue when I forced anti aliasing, the text would only show up when I disabled anti aliasing in the driver. (NVIDIA GTX 260, drivers 257.15, Win7 x64)

I found some odd bug in these logs.
It looks like several last words of many logs just missing. The same problem is with descriptions of at least two weapons in your inventory.

Not working for me in ATI Catalyst.

Yes, of course. I scrolled completely down, but some logs are just not complete. Just look at "Healer", "Larvar burst" or "Stunner" logs for example.

Not working for me AA on or off, text is fine on the start menu. Once in game any text in game or at menu is corrupted to be unreadable :(

** updated drivers to 197 (Nivida on Windows XP) appears to have resolved it.
