Simple question. Can I turn shadows completely off? If I set settings to lowest quality possible, shadows are still here, but they just look horrible and I lag same like with higher quality...
My spec: Nvidia GT 320M 1 GB with newest drivers
Intel core 2 duo T6570 2,1 Ghz
Ram 4 GB
Win 7 64 bit
or at least tell me what from these components cause biggest fps drop... Thanks for reply

With your set-up there really isn't much to do. If you disabled GPU based PhysX calculations and moved them to the CPU, well then the CPU would bottleneck and thus affect your videocards performance.
Damned in you do, damned if you don't kinda situation. Maybe someone else has better info - ie Jarnis :P

Tone down your resolution to as low as it can go. This, along with shaders have the most impact on performance. Also make sure everything is on low. F4 is to show your framerate, if it's over 30 you should be okay.
Your setup is not the greatest to run this game and there are no real tweaks, so if this does not work-- I don't think anything else will help too much.

Might as well be asking how to turn the guns off. Shadows are as much as of a game play element as they are a visual effect. If turning EVERYTHING down to the absolute minimum doesn't work, then you may have to upgrade your rig.
btw, did you try the benchmark @ shatteredhorizon.com?

Actually i have notebook so upgrade would be impossible. I tried that benchmark at shatteredhorizon.com but it didnt even started becouse that site didnt recognised my nb configuration (i think it happens becouse of that 320M graphic card, it has very low support)
I will buy some better computer later, for now I just have to wait and hope that people will still play this game after year or 2.
I just thought that this game doesnt have too big imapact on performance. I can play crysis warhead with ultra high setting with only turned off shadows and antialising, and it still look superior...
btw is there any tutorial how to move phyx calculations to CPU?

It's all done on CPU anyway. Enabling "Show PhysX Visual Indicator" shows that the PhysX calculations are done on the CPU.
But anyway, just go to Nvidia control panel, "Set PhysX Configuration" and disable it. This makes PhysX calculations be done on the CPU.

Remember to turn off "ambient occlusion" as it is the most useless effect in game, it creates a greyish looking field around objects and in my humble opinion degrades the visuals, also you will gain much more speed by disabling this supposed effect.
