-According to Wikipedia (which is a reliable source, don't made comment about it), Carl Gustav Jung (aka Carl Jung) is born in Switzerland in 1875 and died in 1961. He was a psychiatrist, "an influential thinker and the founder of analytical psychology".

-The Carl Gustaf (also Carl-Gustaf and M2CG; pronounced "Carl Gustav") is the common name for the 84 mm man-portable multi-role recoilless rifle produced by Saab Bofors Dynamics (formerly Bofors Anti-Armour AB) in Sweden.

Now why the name Carl Gustav/f ? The Carl Gustav was developed by Hugo Abramson and Harald Jentzen so it doesn't come from it. But, it was produced at Carl Gustav Stads Gevärsfaktori (aka Bofors Carl Gustaf AB) from where it derives its name.

You may ask, what's or why Carl Gustav Stads Gevärsfaktori ? Carl Gustav Stads Gevärsfaktori ("Rifle Factory of Carl Gustaf's town") is a Swedish armaments firm, now owned by Bofors. The name Carl Gustaf's town ("Carl Gustav Stads") was a name used intermittently for the town Eskilstuna after king Karl X Gustav gave the town city privileges.

Here's the main point, what's follow is about Karl X Gustav.

Once again, according to Wikipedia, Charles X Gustav also Carl Gustav, Swedish: Karl X Gustav (8 November 1622 – 13 February 1660) was King of Sweden from 1654 until his death.

There's something new : Even if it looks a little bit "off-topic".

Carl Gustav : fake name given by Canadian army guys to girls at the bar, this allows evenings activities to remain random.

And maybe someone from Sweden could tell more about the King.
