GOTY version?

The Steam-based GOTY Edition is showing v1.0. Is there a 1.1 patch for it or is it even necessary?

Can't (usually) manually patch steam games anyway, so no need to worry. There's also no need in terms of multiplayer, so indeed, just play the game. If it needs to be patched to 1.1, Steam will do it for you.

Not necessarily, GFWL games sometimes patch themselves, and steam does not do them, if the game says 1.0, and GFWL isn't updating, or asking to update, then it doesn't need to update

The reason I asked is because the retail version of the game has been patched to v1.1 some time ago. I was simply asking if the same fixes applied in v1.1 were already in GOTY v1.0 (meaning the GOTY edition's version number was unique to that edition).

I thought it meant ATI AA was patched too, but I can't find mention of this released.

yeah i think version 1.0 of GOTY is the same as, or better, then 1.1 non-GOTY
