Failed to connect to EA online wth?

I can log in to my BC2 online account, It says updating stats, but then when I try to connect to a friends game it says "Failed to connect to EA online" Then the server browser doesn't refresh anything but 3 empty servers all the time, and when I try to quick match into a game it just says "couldn't find any games"

Am I missing a patch somewhere, or a server list, or something?

I just came back to check the status of the game after being gone for a while and I just wanted to play with some friends online. What should I do?
