So I seem to have come across what I assume to be a rare problem but one that I can't fix due to Ubisoft's poor poor decisions.

On the level where Ratash decides to start attacking you and you run through while he destroys the environment it seems to have loaded incorrectly for me. Have the time the floor was gone, everything by the cone of the building her was on was missing, and his attacks resulted in large black glitched artifacts instead of whatever the real effect was supposed to be. I managed to play through it until I got passed some traps and there was a doorway with nothing passed it but sky box. If there was something there I couldn't see it so I couldn't advance, all I could do was go through and fall. So I tried restarting the game.

I went to exit to main menu and it when through a loading screen but never came out, it just stayed there so I alt-tabbed and ended the process. I tried reloading the game but once I pressed continue it gets stuck on the loading screen again. It seems that the corrupted level corrupted my save file as well. Understandable, it happens. The problem is that Ubisoft not only wants to control the game but also your save file, as there's no way to delete the save file. There're methods for 360 and PS3 but not for PC. Dandy, it took me 8 hours to download this game and I really don't want to redownload the entire thing again. Thanks a lot Ubisoft, your tyranny knows no bounds and has reached and ruined the very concept of save game files.

If anyone has any idea how to access the game save please let me know, I'd really appreciate it.

P.S. I managed to find the location of the gamesaves. There're 4 files, the first 2 are your upgrade progress and the second 2 are your actual game progress. Good news and bad news is that the unlockables are server side but you can share your xp upgrades with anyone.

If anyone has a gamesave near where Malik accuses you of treason I'd be very greatful.

I had a similar issue with a level ahead of that (Just after the astrolathe), some walls wouldn't load and I couldn't continue. Verfiying the game cache doesn't help either.

Thanks Ubisoft.

yes this game does not seem like it was playtested for more than twenty minutes, as there are NUMEROUS artifacting errors and rendering problems. i personally have had seven or eight hallways end with empty gamespace that disallowed me to continue playing without restarting my game and hoping that said rendering would occur and allow me to proceed. fairly sloppy :(
