First of all, the current sale is amazing indeed! But I already own vanilla Oblivion and don't much feel like reinstalling the game through Steam (not to mention the two dozen or so mods I have installed, plus OBMM, etc., etc.).

I don't own, however, any of the official DLCs. So I was wondering, is there a way to take the DLCs from the Steam version and install them on the retail version?

Any info is much appreciated. Thanks! :)

That shouldn't be a problem. I didn't get the deal myself yet but the DLCs will be dropped in your "steam/steamapps/common/[gamename]/data" folder as *.bsa,*.esp so... all you have to do is to copy them to your retail install and activate them with the launcher or better with OBMM.

hope that helps. ;)

I guess you might also try to copy the retail install over to wherever steam will install it, it will probably make some errors but verify game cache should fix em with minimal download possibly? Just an idea.

Just copy your save games over to the Steam version after it's installed. Problem solved. :)
