I've heard there are some campatibility issues with Windows 7 64bit. Can anyone provide some insight please?
thanks.

I have win7 64 bit. Fully up to date.
Works like a charm.
But do not alt-tab out of the game. You won't be going back in. You'll need to kill the process then relaunch the game at the last save.

Works fine for me, but only after Steam updated the game.

Haven't had one problem yet! Unless you count my own stupidness of not saving often enough before trying something daring lol.

I dunno how everyone else are able to run it fine on Win7, but I've been having issues with it. Keeps crashing on launch. Used compatibility mode, Launch as admin, and every other suggested things I could find on the web, nothing works.

Runs for me, but only after I used the quad-core compatibility fix that's listed in another thread here on the forum... before that it just randomly locked up.

Fallout 3 works fine under Windows 7 64-bit. However, the game still crashes the same as it did while playing it under Windows XP. It's not the OS that has issues, but the game itself.
I played for 30-35hrs under Windows 7 64-bit without a single crash. Then all of a sudden I would start getting 3-5 crashes in a day. Once you get your first crash, they don't stop.
Same exact issue under Windows XP for me.
I'm not talking about crashes due to codecs or drivers either, I'm talking about random crashes wandering the wastes and shooting bad guys.
