Option to turn sound off?

Is there an option to turn sound off? I did not find one.

I'd like to hear other things in the background sometimes.

Make note devs, we need an option to shut off the music.

I don't think there's a way internally. If you have Windows 7, you can go to the sound mixer and just crank the volume down for Eversion.

Navigate to the game's music folder at \Steam\steamapps\common\eversion\music and replace the music files with empty files. The game will crash if the files don't exist so you can't just delete them.

turning off the music really is a bad idea BUT the music is still far too loud. I would appreciate an option to reduce the loudness of it a tiny bit.

I played the game through with sound enabled. For monotonous speedrunning I prefer to hear at least some music, for example. ;-)
