Game crash

Game crashes if the Steam in-game overlay is enabled, any ideas.

System:

Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, will all the latest drivers installed
ASUS P6T Deluxe Motherboars, latest BIOS
2 x XFX 260GTX Black Edition graphics cards in Sli mode, using 197.77 drivers.

If I delete the configuration files, then run the launcher everything is fine, make the required changes, exit and then run the launcher again, and it will crash. If I do the same and disable the in-game overlay the launcher will not crash.
