Hey Everybody,

Before somebody starts to lecture me on all the "ways" to do this, let me just explain what I have done so far.

According to many other sites I've visited there is a section in my Users folder > My Games > Company of Heroes > WW2 (did all of that including the Scenarios and even the / Data / Scenarios / MP section.

Next I was told I had to do the exact same thing in the steam folder of the game... did that.. The game just refuses to load any custom maps.

All of these maps are in SGA format.. which I've been told are the best..

I am just curious for ANYBODY out there that are using Custom Maps on Windows 7 with the STEAM copy of this game have gotten their maps to work.. I have a huge collection of maps I'd personally LOVE to play but can't :(

Any help would be awesome!

Thanks!

yeah the wife and i were having the same problems before we figured it out, i've got xp and she has windows 7. for us at least that whole steam apps/common/ww2/scenarios thing was useless, even though she bought both company of heroes and the expansion from steam. i bought company of heroes retail but the first expansion through steam. but that link that blackup posted did help us figure it out though, because the map pack that blackup was installing in that post aimed itself to where it needed to go, and then we just looked in our documents to find out where it put the map pack, and after that we've just placed all of the sga files in there and we've gotten every map to work no problem. mine looks like this, C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes\ww2\scenarios, hers was slightly different ofcourse, if you still need help we'll fire up her laptop to try and help you figure it out, though you've probably figured it out by now.

lawbreaker you do realise you don't need both installed? Uninstall vanilla CoH and just run it through OF on steam.

no i wasn't aware of that oj191, i've noticed that if i try and play the regular germans or americans through my steam OF, i don't have the voices of either. so i've been having to fire up my retail to play the germans and americans, and steam OF to hear the panzer elite or the brits.
