Installed but Not Installed Fallout 3 Goty edition

all the files are there under steam in the fallout3 folder

but when i launch it only installation is available, when i click the fallout menu installation it wants me to explore the dvd...

is this an issue with the game or with steam?

intel(r) core(tm)2 quad cpu q6600 @ 2.40gh 3gb ram

First of all, don't make 2 topics.

And try googling, a lot of people have this problem and they've solved it. Try closing Steam, then ending the process in task manager, then restarting your computer. Then log in to steam and try again.

I don't know if this is the solution. Just poke around a bit.
