Fallout 1 Help needed badly

I just bought Fallout 1 and when I started it all the colors were messed up such as Grey being green or red being black and then at the main menu the entire screen goes black and I can't see anything! (Also I'm playing it on a Windows 7) So can anyone tell me what's going on?

You might try alt-tabbing out and then back in - might work as a temporary fix.

Alternatively, you could try running the game in compatibility mode for Win98 (you also could fiddle with some of the other check boxes on the compatibility listing).

Thanks now I have one more question, Where can I find the interplay folder? I've looked everywhere and I still can't find it

There is no interplay folder for a steam install. Instead, look under:

/Steam/steamapps/common/fallout/
