View Full Version : Scripted Event w/ prop_dynamic

I'm attempting to make a scripted event that uses prop_dynamic instead of NPCs (because I'm making it for CS:S and NPCs from Half-Life 2 won't load on it).

I'm not very experienced with Hammer, but I know the basics. Is there any way I can make a scripted event between two NPCs? Primarily, I need the following actions

- I need to find out how to make prop_dynamics with the Combine soldier model die. I don't even know if this is possible with a prop_dyanmic, since I can't find a death animation in the animation list and as far as I know prop_dynamics are deleted upon "death".

- I need to have a zombie hop down from the roof and attack a guard. I tried it with a path_track entity and that might be the best idea. If you have any better ideas than that just let me know.
