Are the expansions worth it?

I played Kane's wrath and its VERY short. Why is it worth as much as the full game? The only thing i liked about it are the giant units...

Damn it, I'm really tempted to get C&C4, just to finish the story...

Any thoughts on Uprising? Never tried that one...

To my understanding EA decided not to make Uprising a online game, only RA3.
C&C4 has no Base Building like the rest of the series but if you like that then go for it. I for 1 will pass on C&C4.

Kane's Wrath is not worth it (and why got my topic deleted? -_-), when the expansion pack was released multiplayer AND lan were near unplayable due to numerous desyncs, after months of waiting they finally came with a patch and instead of fixing all the desyncs (they still happen on large games, where i bought the game for) they rebalanced the game, but rebalancing wasnt a concern for anyone! We wanted to play without desyncs but instead they rebalanced the game, one of the fine effects of that was that the deut production went downhill along with the level of action. The new units were overpowered over the old ones, and the list goes on. Kanes Wrath is the only game where i feel im being scammed. I paid 30 bucks for a faulty product. With that rant behind me, im here to point this out to other users, also yes i am voting with my wallet by never buying a CnC game again. Why would i want to, number 4 is a disgrace and Red Alert has lower activity than CnC 3.

also Blazer, i have a 100mbit connection (and my computer runs the game at max settings just fine, i even tried putting all on minimum it did not have effect), the desyncs even happened on LANs, and it happened for everyone. Just go in the EA forum archives and the numerous complaints will be there. Also if you started playing after the patch you may encounter less desyncs, but they are not gone.

my oppinion, anything EXCEPT C&C 4 is pretty much an OK C&C game, C&C 4 = the biggest load of Rubbish i have ever seen.

Thanks for the input guys. C&C 4 DRM is a real turnoff... maybe i'll get it when its durt cheap, same with any new Ubisoft games.
I had some problems with desyncs, but i blame that on my crappy router.

The games needs some rebalance, i remember steamrolling through anything with Mammoth tanks, mechs, and Super units on any map, except sea levels.

No no no, blame it on a faulty product, thousands of other players had the same experience as you and me.
