Is there any way to get the xbox controller to work like the mouse.
IE: the left joystick to move the right one to aim. right now it jump 90 degrees at a time when turning?

thanks all

Bump with similar problem. The right stick on the Saitek Cyborg Rumble Pad also does not work. I've seen another game that has problems with it, but it has a built-in command-line flag to fix it. Don't know if there's anything like that for this game.

i case if some one find this thread - there is solution: you need little magical free tool called x360ce. it's wrapper, which can make any of your old not XInput-compatible gamepad works exactly as MS 360 Gamepad.

Will that correct the aim of the right analog stick? My pad works perfectly, but the game gives you no option to configure the direction of the right stick. So my guy aims left when I push up and right when I push down on the right stick. Besides that it was fine.

It's actually the only reason I won't redeem the game with my last tickets. Are the options still this limited in the full game? I'm playing a demo.

Edit: Ok, I tried it and it works perfectly without even having to configure the controller. Great demo so far.

Xbox360 controller works perfectly out of the box. It has to be a gamepad specific problem you're having.

Will try the x360ce. Thank you!
I want to buy a controller to use on my PC and I am thinking about getting the Razer Onza since Windows Live games need a 360 controller and that is the only other controller besides the 360 controller that I know works...i think.

Right stick records reverse movements with Saitek 880. Nothing wrong with the controller itself, the controller works correctly when checking calibration at control panel. What to do?

I'm sorry, I think crimsonland-esque play on gamepad aint possible, better bet is to play as Doom - i.e. use left pad for back/forth, right pad for camera steering and buttons for actions (in a mouse-like layout if possible). This is said from experience of playing Impact demo :D
