Restarted and view cd key, go to http://www.medalofhonor.com/beta redeem the key then play? what the difference between the cd key on steam and reedeeming the cd key?

Enter it in game after you login, this is a real BETA key not a redeem key.

Ok shouldn't everyone who pre-ordered MoH on Steam get a key regardless if they havee BFBC2 on Steam? I got BFBC2 retail and it's connected to my EA account, thus all I would need to do is tether my Steam key to my EA account. This should be the case, but I'm not getting a key or anything on Steam.

No, you need to have BC2 on steam if you want early access to MOH beta. Otherwise, you have to wait until the 21st

This is from the store page:

VALID ONLY AT EA STORE (WWW.EASTORE.COM) AND PARTICIPATING RETAILERS. CUSTOMERS WILL BE EMAILED THE BETA CODE ONCE PRE-ORDER IS PLACED, STARTING JUNE 17, 2010 OR HANDED THE CODE WHEN THE PRE-ORDER IS MADE AT A RETAIL STORE.

From what I understand, me getting a beta code has nothing to do with me owning BC2 on steam.

Now, using that beta code with steam is a different story. But then I thought I'd just go on the EA website and register it with my EA account that has BC2 on it.

Thats NOT true STEAM needs to get on the ball and get the beta keys out to everyone no matter if they have BBC2 or NOT or they will be giving out some refunds because this is directly from the MOH site.
