Killing the Patriarch with 1 shot

I've killed the Patriarch twice on "Hard", each time with 1 single headshot from the crossbox. Both times as he charged towards me while camouflaged and both times I played alone. The Maps were West London and then it happened again on a custom "Hotel" map, by the poolside. Just curious to know if this is normal or was it some sort of glitch? Anyone? Thanks!

Maybe he's weaker on solo or something. I'm not really liable to know for certain but I would possibly guess as to that estimate whereas a person above my civility standing upon the situation would be more informed than to say If I were to be the one in falsehood or not. Hope this helps.

He is weaker on solo, all zeds are.

Yeah, in Solo play, the zeds are much weaker. Works great for grinding perks though, all except Medic

If you look on KF wiki for example, there is a chart that has difficulty on one side and amount of players on the other.

According to the Site:
The base hit points of the Patriarch is 4000; its total health on normal with one player, for every additional player 3000 hit points is added. This figure is then multiplied by 0.5 on beginner, 1 on normal, 1.35 on hard, and 1.75 for suicidal.

And headshot at lvl 6 sharpshooter with a crossbow does 5616. Just above his hp on one player hard difficulty.

Thanks for the REs guys. I know he's weaker on solo but dying with only a single crossbow shot to the head and nothing else? Seems too easy, especially on Hard mode. Does his invisibility have anything to do with it? Usually it takes me a little while to kill him, even with xbows, providing he didn't step on some pipe bombs first.

I don't think its a glitch. Just another example of how stupidly overpowered the crossbow is. Its funny to me how backwards it is. You would think it would be the Rocket Launcher one shotting stuff but no that is near useless. Its an arrow that pwns Zombies lol.

Robin Hood knew arrows > Launchers.

I would enjoy robin hood stuff a lot more if they all had rocket launchers though.

I know that with the 9mm you could take the head off in one shot at close range when he extends his arms to hit you. I don't know if it was a glitch or what happened but I haven't been able to repeat this again from sometime. :(
