Computer restarts automatically while installing

To be more specific, it restarts while installing the micosoft .NET framework thing.

does this happen to anyone else? and is there a fix?
Also: I'm using the demo.

Check the Microsoft help database for .NET tips. It is highly unlikely that GA specifically is the problem.

QFT. .NET is something that Hi-Rez has little sway over.

another option is to go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common. Open the GA demo folder (don't know the name. Might be GLobal Agenda Demo, or Global Agenda Live), and open the PreReqs folder. Run the 2 .NET installers, the Direct X installer (probably not needed), the physx installer, and the AMD Dual core fixer if it applies. After that, run prereqs_on. It will modify the steam regisrty files for GA to have it skip the first time run stuff. It will toss a warning box, but don't worry.

After that, just lauch GA. Hopefully you activated a trail account on the GA offcial boards so you can log in.
