Where is the multiplayer?

I read at the store page that the game has multiplayer, also, I read somewhere that the multiplayer is open with another executable but I could not find it. Also I having error in font setup maybe it's because of that? Does anyone managed to play multiplayer?

I don't think there is any. The store page lies IMO. It's messed up because the manual (http://cdn.steampowered.com/Manuals/24410/Crusaders_TKC_Manual_EN.pdf?t=1270602381) states it should be on the main menu. Don't think this will get attention based on the popularity of the title...

It just dawned on me even if they did fix the MP there would be no one to play it with. Shame good game otherwise, if not a bit slow.

Thank you for looking if there was any MP... It's been almost one year I wrote this question and I doubt too they will be fixing and people will be playing it...

Hi, I just had a craving for this game (found my old saves, went as fas as mission 8 on very hard), and after reinstallation decided to check these forums.

As far as I know, there is an multiplayer of sorts via LAN. Nowadays it's simple to make a virtual LAN over the net, what is misleading is that if you want to get to multiplayer you have to start the game from separate shortcut from the game folder - LAN Multiplayer.

So it's not a lie, "the truth is out there" ;)

Hello GuardianPL, thank you for looking if there was any MP too.

I think you have the retail version of the game, or some version of Windows that is not the same of mine and you managed to install the game without any problems using Steam (I have problems with the installscript.vdf trying to reinstall again and again every time I enter the game).

I think your version is not the same because I've searched the game folder (...\steamapps\common\crusaders thy kingdom come\) for any shortcut, .bat or executable and I found nothing that could open the multiplayer, so this time I was sure that there was MP and I looked in Google and discovered that if I enter the properties and modify the Set Launch Options to : "gamestartmode:MultiPlayer" (without "") the game would launch in the multiplayer mode.

Thank you all again, I will try to open a ticket with Steam Support and ask them to make one launch-mode menu when starting game.
