How many players online

It would be great if someone could post like an avarage number of players online every day.
It doesn't have to be an exact number, really - right now I'm wondering if I should buy this for the PC or for the PS3.
I hate playing shooters on gamepads, but I've seen games that based heavily on multiplayer (Burnout: Paradise) dying on PCs, while living on consoles.

So how is it with Transformers? I've read, that there were about 4500 people playing on the PS3 and around 400 on the PC...

601 peak today with the Steam version. Not sure how many with retail.

Ingame, it says something like 350 or so are on multiplayer.

Yeah I'm sure many people are playing the campaign, so the multiplayer lobby doesn't show them. And the campaign is pretty damn long. We should see a lot more people in multiplayer by the weekend.

I don't think the game is released globally yet. Doesn't Europe have a bit later of a release date?

At the moment its only the US that have it, so MP number will be down a bit. Having said that, it doesn't really matter since even if thousands of us Aussies and Euros jump on MP next week, without dedicated servers we aren't going to want to play with you lot anyway :P

I would love a patch, that only added multiplayer chat....just that :/ please? The whole game is awesome except for the chat is missing! makes me sad :(
