I havent played this game in a while, now when I try to launch it it asks me for my CDKEY, does anybody know where I'm meant ot find this, shame the steam CDKEY for this game doesnt pop up like it did the first few times I played it, I would of thought it was stored somewhere(even on Steam servers themselves). After AVG deleted the .exe and I've had to downlaod it again through Steam it now obviously wont recognise my CDKEY for some reason. Any help would be appreciated

My bad I found it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\doom rails\Game, shame that it now tells me I have 4 activations remaining, what is this crap?, If I've paid for the game I should be able to use my KEY whenever I want.

Wow I just bought this and probably should of read the forum first. If you're a small company you should probably stay away from pulling stuff like this. As a paying customer I'll be way less likely to buy a future product from them. Especially since pirates are going to continue to pirate it anyway. Does DRM ever stop them?

I just emailed the developer. They answered back very fast so removing your previous activations is not an issue.

Well he does have a point. While it is nice to see now in the future it could become a problem. I think personally 5 activations should be enough for most, but I also feel that activations when you pay good money for something shouldn't be put in place to start with. Pirates always have the upper hand in these situations and developers need to realize for a paying customer that is irritating to say the least.

Yes, but are you really sure that it will be that much of a problem? I got an e-mail not even a day after I've written my complant. Sure, activation limits are evil and so on. But is it a REAL problem or just a matter of principle?
