Hi, I know huge of people experiencing issues of the release time of this game but when you download and play your game can you confirm what type of connection is this game using for multiplayer? Dedicated servers or P2P connection, thanks. :)

I didn't mean Pay 2 Play. :) I mean Port 2 Port multiplayer without the dedicated servers like Modern Warfare 2, FEAR 2 etc...

Well some guy somehow got access to a demo and I watched a little movie of him playing it. It seems like from what I saw that the options for multiplayer are LAN Internet and some third one. Though I dont know if that answers any questions.

meh, im not too concerned. MP should be about sneaking around 4vs4, not a clusterfudge of 24 snipers trying headshot each other from 5 meters.
EDIT: and that means P2P, while bad, could still work, in theory, with a low amount of players per session.

I too am curious about this. I have spoken with several server companies and everyone is just kinda waiting to find out if its possible. Kind of a pain that this information isn't readily available. I mean how hard is it to add that the game will or will not support dedicated servers :(

That's the bad..in theory, one would think it should be fine. But in reality, it just does not work well.
Some examples.. Left4dead series and Killing Floor. Both p2p and both dedicated servers available and both are successful. On P2P you can tell and feel the difference even with just 4-8 players. Plus you have the problem of the HOST dropping with p2p. Nothing more frustrating then to have a good game going and see the game disappear.
Another example is Lead and Gold. They started with p2p only, with frustrated customers. They now have Dedicated servers available and hope they still have a community to support them. It's a win/win for company and customer to have them available at launch. LAG can kill a multiplayer game quicker then a .17hmr on a groundhog!
But, let's hope for the best in Sniper Ghost warrior, or meet up for longer host games with decent pings.
