I bought the retail version of the game but I have no clue whether or not this makes a difference.
So on, any time I decide to install the game, it installs perfectly. When I try to launch it, the intro movies go by somewhat fine, but when it gets to the main menu it either crashes or lags TREMENDOUSLY.
For example (if it doesn't crash): I'll try to move my mouse to "options" to lower the game video settings but it'll take a good 5-10 seconds then the mouse will warp to options, and it will take about the same for it to register after I click on it.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? I play Modern Warfare 2 perfectly fine on high settings and I can play BFBC2 fairly okay.
