i jsut bought this game yesterday at i think it was 75 or 66% off. now today it's 80% for 4 dollars. i know i would save only like 2 dollars, but still. what the heck steam!

You could expect that.

My strategy, buy only games from the day to day sale.
If at the last day the games you'd like to have didn't went on, just buy them then for the other xx% off.
Only thing is that you have to wait say...8 more days.

Same thing happened to me :( For the rest of the sale, only buy the stuff that's the daily special. Anything you want, add it to your wishlist. If it goes on the daily special, you're gold. Otherwise, wait until Jul 4 and buy it at the end.

I remember the same thing happened to me during the x-mas sale, apparently I didn't learn my lesson then.

I played it through on the 360 and it was great fun the whole way through. I'd say it's an underrated gem.

Good advice is to use the wishlist option and to monitor prices on games per sale each day.

4 bucks on this game, a game designed as a movie sequel in some ways, is a great deal, I couldn't pass it up.
