Invisible War : Cant save nor load...

Hi crowds of steamaland...

Today I bought Deus Ex: Invisible War.
I have been able to play for something like 20 minutes (just long enought to discover I am an experiment, yes I play slowly, but I'm a fan of the first Deus Ex, so...).
And right now i can't do anything. Saving? Crashes and closes the game. Quicksaving? Don't even think about it. Loading a new area when getting to it? Naaah, it would allow me to make progress... crashes the games and closes it.
So I'm stuck in a small part of the game, can't save and can't go on, can't go back, and when I restart the game, same problems occure.

Oh, yeah, and i have a windows XP service pack 3, not Seven.

Odd. I too run XP SP3, and I do not have issues with saving my game.

The save games are located in: C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\Deus Ex - Invisible War\SaveGames

Check and see if there is anything there, maybe it's set to read only or something.

I haven't seen anything which looks suspicious here, and the files are in this folder, so I don't think that is the problem. But thanks for your concern =)

did you ever fix this problem? because I have the exact same one now
