Hey,
In the previous Steam sale I found a number of customers found the "activation" screen of the game which required you to register at galcon.com to be a huge pain.
I've updated the game so that this screen does not appear at all! You can fully play the single player game without creating a galcon.com account.
However, because the multiplayer game plays against iPad users, etc, I still require creating a Galcon.com account to access the multiplayer portion of the game.
I would love to get some feedback from everyone if this is reasonable? Or if it is still a nuisance. I would like to get this working as smoothly as I can so everyone can have as much fun as possible!
Thanks!

Registration was super easy. It took a bit for me to log in to the site after registering though. It was just the site. I was able to jump into mp right after registering. Then the site worked.

I have a question about this. I registered the your site but must I enter my account name and password in game too? Because there is no log in button, there is only create new account button? Or only writing account name and password is enough?

I just left the username and pass written in the settings tab and was able to play online.

First, I can't reg while in steams overlay browser, which isn't a huge problem...but second..it says my key is invalid, I just bought it off steam.
Do I have to wait for my key to become active or something?

I recently bought the game on Steam, and I had a question, which I will ask here since the developer actually checks these forums :-)
Do I need a second copy of the game to play with my wife? As you say in this thread, you need to login to play multiplayer at all, right? There isn't some kind of LAN mode or anything?

Yes, you would need a second copy as far as I understand.
And as a reply to the dev: You changed it to the better as it wont feel as intrusive/forced any more (for the people who are bothered by it). Very nice of you to try improve things as much as possible for your customers. Always nice to see that from devs.

Thanks! The most important thing is for people to be having fun :) And as little time filling out tedious forms as possible ...
