i go to boot up resident evil 5 directx9 version and it crashes immediately says resident evil 5 has encountered an error and needs to close. i more then meet the system specs and ive tried restarting my computer anyone else having this issue?

Then what's the detail of that error message? And what's your system spec?

amd 64x2 dual core 5200+
3.25 gb ram
ati radeon hd 4860 1 gb

It sounds like you're having problems very similar to what I experienced, but ultimately solved. Check out the thread I just opened, it might help. the game is the bee's knees, by the way, so it is well worth solving.
