I ran a quick search and could find nothing specific on this topic.
Problem seems to be exclusive to when I am fighting German tanks, the game just closes unexpectedly and the error report thing comes up
....happens every time on tutorial during armor training when I reach the town after using the bulldozer...I start to fight and bam, crash
...now in campaign on the mission where you have the church and the square/town hall...and the Germans r trying to cross the bridge, it crashes as soon as they make it into range of my gun emplacements (when they cross the bridge...
Any help or links to help would be much appreciated....I've wanted this game for a long time and being unable to play it is a downer
....if you don't have anything to contribute please just make a bump post so that someone who can help sees it
Much thanks.

Could you enlighten us on what you've done so far to remedy the problem yourself?

What about verifying game files?
Also, post your PC specs

As Niscimble said, try verifying the games files/cache
{Right click game in steam library> click properties > click local files tab> Verify integrity of game cache}
It might work it might not, but it's a good place to start. By the way, what exactly is the error message saying if anything.
*edit*
Also post your in-game graphic settings please.

I have a similar problem. Whenever i engage the Tetra tanks during the second mission in Operation Market Garden my game crashes.
Just tried the Caen campaign and the game crashes as soon as i attack the Panther.
And it also seems to crash when defending the bridge in that mission you mentioned aswell.

I will. I'm not expecting them to help me solve this though. I made a thread about the problem on Relicnews ( http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=250478 ) and hopefully someone there will be able to help me.
It would be great if you could crash your game by attacking the tank in the beginning at Liberation of Caen. Then paste the content of the Warnings.log ( Should be in my documents\my games\Company of Heroes ) in this thread. A Dxdiag would be helpful as well.

Let me explain the "resolution" to this for you, cost me my ♥♥♥♥ing weekend
In short -> Drivers are the problem
I will tell you why.
They don't provide drivers, they only provide the baseline manufacturer install drivers than with respects to the rest they basically screw you outright.
Although this is not a major issue for this release of Stracraft 2, it limits the settings and the ability of my computer to play games, such as Company of Heroes which crashes as soon as I attack a tank. Thanks Sony!
I have owned Gateway gaming PCs all my life prior to this moment however I finally decided I would spend some big money and get a powerful gaming laptop (yes I know custom built desktops are better but I need laptops for space and work reasons).
Point being is I was royally screwed, I would have been better off with a Mac FFS since at least they support their hardware (me praising the Mac in any form just shows how much I hate Sony for this BS).
Don't make the same mistake I made, don't buy Sony VAIOs/PCs. You will, like me, regret it. (Laptop is only 2 months old, manufactured 2010.
